A couple of newspaper covers from a series of compilations of Fifties music.
Q: How do we know these were bought purely for their covers?
A: They are still sealed.
Then an example from another series, this time ‘classical’ music. One was enough.
Finally, a very smooth looking band leader. Would you dance the night away with this man?
Title: Peter Coombe – Newspaper Mama [Album, 1987]. Appeared here.
Still sealed? Man, oh man and there’s me feeling guilty about not listening to some of mine enough!

Look, I’d like to be able to claim that the ‘newspaper covers’ thing is my only dodgy music collecting trait, but it’s probably not.
It is, however, the only category where an LP might be purchased for the cover alone. More or less.
Anyway, the music isn’t very interesting!

I’m not pointing fingers, nudity and swearing being longstanding criteria of mine for buying albums!

I keep giggling like a child and losing count of the LPs, to be honest
