WHAT’S MY THEME?

A new Album Cover Quiz is coming very soon.

But first, here is something new.

I’ll post some album covers with a connection between them. The task is to discover the theme.

Notionally, there are four levels of difficulty:

EASY

MODERATE

HARD

DIABOLICAL

This debut What’s My Theme? is more a test run than a real quiz.

It is easier than EASY.

  2. I think you RED a book about Miles Davis’ Kind of BLUE, which features the track BLUE in GREEN.

    1. Very good Graham. Any thoughts on how to field answers without giving the game away?

      1. You could set your blog comments to need approval? Then none would show up until you went through and approved them?

        1. Excellent idea. Thank you. I assume one can do that for individual posts. Will check.

          1. You can always toggle it off while running the comp, then toggle it back on?

            1. Yes, that’s probably the way to go.

  3. For the fun of it, I will point out the differences:
    – Joni Mitchell’s is the only one with the main colour matching the name,
    – R.E.M.’s is the only one with the name not in the colour, and
    – Jon Spencer’s is the only one that doesn’t have the name at all.

  5. Es hat mit Farben zu tun. Fun! *Love* the idea. I join stephen1001 in looking forward to a diabolical installment. I’m sure I won’t be able to figure it out, but it’ll be fun trying…

We might work upwards (downwards?) towards diabolical!

  6. I guess “The White Album” and Spinal Tap’s “None More Black” are disqualified. according to a pop-up factoid on the Internet the other day, seeing green in a dream, during REM sleep, indicates a desire for recognition.

    1. As you quite rightly observe, Robert, the non-colours were dismissed from contention. 🙂
You recognised that, or so the little green man in my dream said.
