Well done, old chap. Brilliant conception. And I probably did as well as I will ever do on one of your quizzes — a seven.

Nice work, tref. Can’t argue with a pass!

Managed to get 13, which is a personal best for me on your quizzes! I’ll be back to my single digit score on your next quiz, no doubt! 😁🤘

That’s a fine effort. Congrats!

The two and half I thought I had right were, in fact, right: #1, #13 and the artists on #8. It kills me that I didn’t recognize #6, but I’m not sure I’d ever have come up with the others. Not sure what, if anything, that says about me. Oranges and Lemons is a longtime favorite; it was on frequent rotation during my medical training, when its largely upbeat, pop-y vibe was most welcome. And who doesn’t love a good pop art-inspired cover? 😉

Psychedelic, baby! (But I’m afraid your Beatles wig will be confiscated forthwith).

Damn!, I was worried that might happen.

I really suck at this game. I got zero of them and the only one I was sure I knew (but couldn’t place) was the Roger Waters cover. Now that I see them, I’m quite familiar with about half of them and that Waters cover? No I don’t know that one at all.

LOL. Luckily, Jeff, it’s the joining in that is entirely the point. So congratulations and thank you for participating.

I normally don’t partake in these kinds of things but I clicked your Link to the quiz itself and gave it a try. lol
Try is a stretch as I got 5 right. Not very good but it does remind me of my math scores back in Grade 9.
Cool idea with the bags…
Well done

Oh dear. Sorry to have evoked painful memories deKE. If you imagine the record bags filled with highly desirable LPs, maybe that will help.

Dear Professor – I’ve filed a protest and grievance re my final score, of 2, which isn’t a true representation of my abilities and growth during this course. If I’d been provided with the complete image of each cover, and the descriptive caption, and been allowed to answer in essay format, it would’ve been much more fair.

These are excellent suggestions, and as our system works on the principle of corruption over competence, if you deposit 100 rare albums into a luggage locker at Flinders Street Station, your degree will be forwarded to you immediately.

Not a problem, I’ll hop on the next Amtrak Hiawatha run, not sure where that connects to the metro in Melbourne. Wish I’d paid more attention in geography class, too.

I should’ve had Cyndi & Stereolab – next time!
Kid A is right near the top of my ‘to own on vinyl’ wishlist

I can forgive myself for all save The Beatles.

So another Beatles wig is confiscated, eh? That’s two in the teacher’s draw, from this class alone.

Brilliant! I did take your suggestions and move to a bigger screen, Bruce. My score did go up three more. So there’s hope for me. 🙂 – Marty

Oh the Allmans Mahavishnu and Stereolab defeated me as I was totally focussed on the bags.

So I’ll just rub your nose in it by observing that Inner Mounting Flame was there for you. Now you really feel bad, right? (But not as bad as those of a certain age who missed Please Please Me).

Yup, I guessed 8 and answers confirm it. Excellent wide selection of records, and full marks for a brilliant quiz idea/execution!

Always enjoy these quizzes, Bruce. I thought I had 12, but I got 10 in the end. That’s pretty good going, I reckon.
